Yet Another Bad Move by Deebo Samuel
Samuel showed up for Super Bowl week wearing the Eagles jersey of A.J. Brown. What was he trying to say? I take that back. Who cares what he was trying to say?
All I know is that he’s a 49er and if he chooses to wear any jersey it should be the jersey of the team that currently employs him. Don’t you agree?
I interpret Samuel’s action as a screw you to the Niners. Maybe he wants more money. Maybe he wants out. Maybe he’s a moron who doesn’t know what he means.
If I were coach or general manager of the 49ers I’d say to Samuel, “You want to wear another team’s jersey, fine, I’ll get you another team’s jersey, but it won’t be Philadelphia’s.”
Then I’d trade him to Tennessee for a bag of footballs. Judging by how overweight he looks in photos wearing Brown’s jersey that’s all he’s worth.
Lowell, I think you’re reading this the wrong way. Let me explain…first the Niners announce they want to keep him and that he’s still a great player but behind the scenes they tell him he’s on the trading block. He’s upset and puts his Morgan Hill house on the market. Then he comes out wearing an Eagles jersey. I would love to trade him to Eagles because that’s a win-win for us. The Eagles, whom(or is it who-I can never get that one right) automatically become worse and we become better. The only catch is that we need their GM to have a serious lapse in judgment but that’s not very likely. 🤞
