Where Was Lowell?
Sorry for my recent silence. My 80th birthday is Nov 1, but my youngest son Grant had last weekend off because no 49ers game, so my whole little family went to the Sonoma Mission Inn and had wonderful meals and did wine tasting as a prelude to my birthday. Great time.
Sonoma Mission Inn is old style, lots of adobe, everything in the best taste, a large great room with a massive fireplace, a feeling of going back in time. It has an excellent restaurant called Sante with an accent on the E. We wine tasted at Anaba which has an entire pinot flight, something I love.
So important to be with family at this time of my life and to feel good and whole. Back to the 49ers on my next post.

Surprised you didn’t go to Three Sticks Winery at The Adobe. Pinots from the former winemaker at Williams-Selyem. Wishing you good health as your 80th birthday looms. I’m not too far behind you.
One must take the time to surround themselves with such beauty. Ah Sonoma, also known as, the birthplace of California. I’d say that’s quite the gift. Thanks for sharing your special occasion. I’m sure there were plenty of smiles to go around. Cheers
